Strontium

Strontium is a mineral with physical and chemical properties similar to calcium, and it plays a role in providing natural bone support. The bone is a dynamic and living organ undergoing constant turnover, regulated by the activities of osteoblasts (bone-building cells) and osteoclasts (bone-resorbing cells). Strontium has been shown to naturally increase the formation of osteoblasts, the cells responsible for building up bone tissue, as well as slowing down osteoclast formation. Strontium may also slow down the formation of osteoclasts, the cells involved in breaking down bone tissue. This helps maintain a balance in bone turnover.
